How is a parlay calculated?
Each American odd converts to decimal (−110 → 1.91, +150 → 2.50) and the decimals multiply together. That combined price times your stake is the ticket payout. That is why parlays grow so fast: each leg multiplies, it does not add.
The real risk of a parlay
The probability of cashing also multiplies: three 55% legs leave the ticket at ~17%. A big payout reflects a small probability, not generosity. Use the ticket's implied probability as your honest reference before betting.
